Idle Mafia Game is a persistent 2D Roblox management game: the map keeps moving, properties earn while you are away, your crew can defend turf, and rival Families remain active. The reliable progression loop is therefore not “click the largest button.” It is a cycle of spending action resources on jobs, converting cash into income-producing properties, equipping a useful crew, protecting money you are not about to spend, and entering PvP or Family activity only when the expected reward justifies the exposure.

This hub organizes that loop into four focused guides. Use it to decide what to do in the next few minutes, what can run while you are offline, and what information should be checked again after an update.

Choose the guide for your current problem

Understand the four-part progression loop

Part
Player action
Decision
Jobs
Spend available Stamina to earn cash and XP.
Favor the job that advances the next useful level or purchase, not merely the largest displayed payout.
Properties
Turn cash into passive income that continues while you are away.
Compare purchase cost with income over the same time window before calling one property better.
Crew
Hire henchmen and equip weapons, armor, and vehicles.
Make sure a purchase is actually equipped and supports the role you need.
Competition
Attack players, defend turf, join a Family, and compete for trophies.
Enter when your health, equipment, and cash exposure make a loss acceptable.

The loop works because active and passive systems cover each other’s downtime. When Stamina is available, jobs turn play time into levels and cash. When Stamina is recovering or you log out, properties continue the economic side. Crew investment protects or improves competitive activity, while the bank can reduce the amount of carried cash exposed to attack according to the current rules shown in game.

A dependable session order

Start by checking your Safehouse or account summary. Review current cash, the action-resource bars shown by the game, property collection state, crew equipment, and any daily reward that is actually available. This prevents you from buying an item while a more urgent property, health recovery, or collection is waiting.

Next, choose a session goal. A level goal points toward jobs; an income goal points toward the next affordable property; a combat goal points toward equipment, health, and target selection; a Family goal points toward membership and current war or territory status. One goal keeps spending decisions coherent.

Spend time-sensitive resources before leaving them capped. Current community documentation identifies Stamina as the job resource, Health as combat-relevant, and other map actions as drawing on their own meter. Read the labels in your build rather than assuming all actions use the same bar. If a job would empty Stamina without reaching a useful milestone, compare another job or preserve enough for the next step.

Then make the money decision. Cash needed for a property or immediate equipment purchase serves a purpose while carried. Cash with no near-term purpose is simply exposed capital if the current PvP rules allow rivals to steal it. The Bank Guide explains how to compare a displayed deposit cost against that risk without assuming an old fee remains current.

Before logging out, confirm that newly purchased equipment is assigned, not merely owned. The official description says henchmen can use weapons, armor, and vehicles, and current community screenshots show a Crew screen with equipment slots. An item sitting in Collection or inventory may not contribute to your active crew.

Early, middle, and competitive priorities

Early account

Build the engine

Use jobs for the next level, establish at least one income-producing property, and avoid spending every dollar on gear before passive income exists.

Growing account

Remove bottlenecks

Compare job requirements, property payback, and crew roles. Upgrade the system that blocks the next meaningful action instead of spreading cash evenly.

Competitive account

Manage exposure

Check health, Attack-related equipment, carried cash, defense assignments, Family timing, and leaderboard rules before committing to PvP.

There is no evidence-backed universal level where one stage ends and the next begins. Treat these as decision states. You are in the “early” stage whenever passive income and a functional crew are not yet established, even if a short-lived bonus moved your level quickly.

Use exact values without freezing them forever

Costs, hourly yields, job rewards, bank fees, gear stats, and unlock levels can change. Use the current game screen as your calculation source. Record the property cost and its displayed income, then compare candidates over one common duration. Record job Stamina, cash, and XP together. Record a gear item’s type, slot, visible effect, acquisition source, and check date.

That small discipline prevents three common errors: comparing one-hour income with one collection payout, calling the highest price the best return, and treating an owned item as equipped power. The dedicated Properties Hub and Crew Hub provide mobile-friendly field lists you can use without relying on a copied old chart.

When to move into PvP and Families

The official description confirms attacks can steal cash, crew defends turf, Families go to war, the map can be taken over, and trophies feed leaderboards. It does not publish the complete formulas, protection timers, war schedule, or scoring rules. Read the current Fight, Crew, Family, map, and leaderboard screens before committing valuable resources.

A practical readiness test is simple: your equipment is assigned, Health is sufficient for the action shown, the cash you could lose is acceptable, and you understand what success awards in the current screen. If one of those is unclear, improve the account engine rather than using a fight as an expensive information test.

Common progression mistakes

  • Buying several gear pieces without checking whether the current crew has compatible or open slots.
  • Holding a large unplanned cash balance while rivals can attack, then calling the loss unavoidable.
  • Saving Stamina at its cap during an active session instead of converting it into the next level or purchase.
  • Calling the most expensive property the best without comparing payback and the player’s actual session length.
  • Joining a Family for its name alone without checking activity, war expectations, territory goals, and communication.
  • Copying Capos, Streets, Jailbreak, Serum, or Awakening advice from the unrelated mobile game Idle Mafia.

New players should open the Beginner Guide first. If the controls already make sense but growth feels slow, use Progression and Property Income. If losses are the problem, read Cash, Bank, and Defense together. For social competition, start with How to Join a Family before studying wars and territory.
