To compare Idle Mafia Game property income, record each available property’s current cost, displayed payout, payout duration, unlock, active bonus, and offline behavior. Convert returns to one common time window, then estimate how long the purchase needs to earn back its price. The official game confirms passive income; your live screen supplies the numbers.
Capture a useful income record
Name and unlock
Use the exact property label and the requirement shown. Do not include a later property your account cannot yet buy.
Cost and return
Record purchase cost, payout amount, and the period attached to that payout. Keep upgrade costs separate.
Bonus state
Note every visible multiplier or percentage and whether the displayed income already includes it.
Persistence
Record collection rules, offline accumulation, cap, and interruption only when the current interface or a repeatable observation supports them.
Add a UTC check date. Property values can be rebalanced, and an undated number cannot tell another player whether it belongs to the current build.
Normalize different payout periods
If the screen gives an hourly amount, use it directly for an hourly comparison. If it gives a cycle amount, divide 60 minutes by the cycle length in minutes and multiply by the payout—only when cycles repeat automatically and the units are clear.
For example, a property displaying a payout every 15 minutes has four cycles per hour. Its gross hourly amount is four times the per-cycle payout. If the payout must be collected manually before the next cycle begins, this multiplication may overstate offline income; use the observed return instead.
Do not mix base and boosted values. If one card is shown with a global bonus and another screenshot is not, normalize the bonus state before comparing them.
Estimate purchase recovery
Use the current gross figures:
Estimated payback time = purchase cost ÷ normalized income per time unit
A lower payback time means capital is recovered faster under those assumptions. It does not automatically mean the property is the best long-term purchase. A later property can produce much more total cash after recovery, while an early property can be better for reaching the next tier quickly.
Label the estimate with the income unit and bonus state. “3 hours at the displayed boosted hourly rate” is useful; “pays back fast” is not measurable.
Compare income for your actual absence
If you usually return after two hours, calculate expected gross income over two hours. If you leave overnight, calculate the longer window but do not exceed an unverified offline cap. Once you have an observed offline result, compare expectation with reality.
Community-reported early tiers
A current illustrated guide lists several early properties and reports increasing purchase costs and hourly returns. It supports the existence of a tiered early property ladder, but it is a single third-party snapshot. This page does not reproduce that table as current truth because exact values should be checked against the live game before they drive a recommendation.
Use those reports only as a prompt to inspect the first available cards. If the names and numbers match your live screen, record them with your check date. If they differ, the live screen wins for your session.
Account for opportunity cost
Property income is valuable because it persists, but cash spent cannot serve another immediate purpose. Before buying, identify what waits: a level-gated action, crew equipment, Bank cost, Family requirement, or a larger property. A slightly slower property can be reasonable when it leaves enough cash for a critical action; a fast payback can still be mistimed if it empties the account before PvP.
The Cash Guide helps reserve growth capital, and Best Properties combines payback with availability and play pattern.
Verify after purchase
Confirm the property moves to the owned state, the correct income display appears, and any timer or collection control starts. Record the balance before and after one complete cycle when possible. Then compare a real offline return during your normal absence.
If the result differs, check active bonuses, server or update changes, manual collection, cap behavior, and whether you compared gross with net income. Do not silently change a universal formula from one account observation.
Common calculation mistakes
- Dividing cost by a payout without including the payout’s time period.
- Comparing a boosted property with an unboosted screenshot.
- Treating gross income as net profit before the purchase is recovered.
- Assuming every cycle repeats during offline time without manual collection.
- Ranking a locked property above an available one for an immediate purchase decision.
- Copying community prices without a current screen check and date.
Next decision
After normalizing current values, open Best Properties to rank only the candidates you can buy. If offline returns differ from the displayed estimate, use Offline Earnings to isolate time, bonuses, and collection state.
Evidence note
The income system and offline persistence are official. The calculation method uses values from your current game screen and makes no claim that a published community price or yield is permanent.
